Apex Engineering & Management Pty Ltd (Apex) is a multidisciplinary engineering and project management consultancy striving to bridge the gaps in the market by fostering a truly client centred approach to providing practical, sustainable and efficient engineering solutions.

Apex was founded by Jordan Bella, on the back of a successful career across Queensland delivering projects in the mining, ports, construction and government sectors.

Our mission is to lead the delivery of sustainable, pragmatic engineering solutions for our clients, community and environment.

6+ years across QLD in a variety of industries.

Key Responsibilities:
- Leading a multidisciplinary engineering business
- Focusing on strategic growth & business development
- Providing hands-on project management to the Apex team & our clients’ projects

What would you be doing if you weren't at work?:
You’ll find me diving headfirst into a number of home improvement projects, fishing and camping or travelling around Australia with my family (with the occasional trip overseas).

What Motivates You?:
Above all else it is my young family. My wife, Georgia, and son, Clancy, continually motivate me to adopt a safe, hands-on approach and lead by example for those around me. I also take a lot of pride in having the opportunity to pass on my knowledge and experience to the next generation of engineers and provide an environment that all team members can thrive in – professionally and personally.

12+ years in Civil Design.

- Civil Design
- 12D Modelling & CAD Drafting
- Civil Estimating

- Local Government, State Government (TMR)

Key Responsibilities:
- Managing engagements with key clients
- Providing technical knowledge, project management and leadership to the Apex team & multidisciplinary projects
- Applying knowledge in civil & mechanical design, drafting & modelling

What would you be doing if you weren't at work?
I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, particularly enjoying a barbecue whilst watching live sports. Although I also enjoy traveling, the upcoming arrival of our first child might temporarily pause those plans for my wife and me. Outside of this you will generally find me at the beach or taking our two beagles for a walk, enjoying the outdoors.

What Motivates You?:
As a highly motivated individual, I thrive in a collaborative team setting. The fear of disappointing myself or my teammates serves as a constant driving force in the workplace. On a personal level, my family is my biggest source of motivation. Creating a safe and harmonious environment where we can all thrive and find happiness is paramount to leading a fulfilling life.
